Day 1 Sajama National Park
The starting point of this tour is La Paz, the first stop is the Church of Curawara, a small town. It is a spectacle because of the beautiful chapel with colonial murals. On our way to the Sajama National Park we will visit ancient Aymara tombs. This tour takes us a total of six hours. We will be quartered in Refugio.
Day 2 Sajama
In the morning we board our vehicle to explore the impressive landscape (highest forest in the world). A special feature of this park is of course the Sajama volcano itself, with all its accompanying impressive phenomena such as geysers, fumaroles and hot springs. In which of course you will also enjoy a relaxing bath.
Day 3 Huayna Khota - La Paz
Today we go to the Huayna Khota Lagoon to enjoy the landscape of the highest forest in the world, traditional popular festivals such as the centenary celebration of the keñua (local Andean custom) are also held here, we also visit the Andean town of Rhea Suri and observe the wild population of vicuñas. These are relatives of the llamas. They were hunted almost to extinction for their valuable wool. In the afternoon we return to La Paz.
