Technical Difficulty: AD/AI 2. Base Camp I: Town of Sajama 4,400 m. Campo Alto II: 4,700.

Day 1

From La Paz, we leave for the Sajama National Park, approximately 5 hours of travel on board our vehicle, on the way we will be able to observe the beautiful altiplano panorama with snow-capped mountains that form an imposing frame contrasting with the deep blue of the altiplano sky, in addition to some archaeological sites that treasure chullpares dating from the period of the Aymara culture and that are part of the Bolivian cultural legacy. On board our all-terrain vehicle we will cross through a valley of volcanic sand to reach our base camp, where our porters will be ready to help us carry most of the equipment up to the high camp, where we will set up our tents.

Day 2

An early departure awaits us, like 03:00 am. We will start our ascent by the normal route to reach the summit, it is estimated about 7 hours to ascend to 6330m./20,762 ft. From this point we will enjoy an impressive view of the Sajama volcano and have a clear sky; Chungara Lake; After recovering energy we will descend to the place where our vehicle awaits us to take us to the hot springs.

Day 3

Today we will visit the geysers area where we will find more than 80 springs with constantly boiling water, forming bubbles of different sizes, shapes and temperatures; this strange site will transport us back to the formation of the earth. After a beautiful experience, we will prepare to start our return to the city of La Paz.
