Day 1. Chucura - Challapampa 2,800m
Pick up from the Hotel heading to La Cumbre. 4,600 m.s/n.m. where we will observe a characteristic fauna of the altiplano, llamas and alpacas, as well as seagulls that fly over the water dam and that are considered bearers of good luck, from this height we must still reach the top of the pass located at 4780m. Going up slowly and gradually until you reach this pass where walkers usually leave some offerings. From this point we begin our descent towards a lower area with more vegetation and where we will find some houses of the inhabitants of this pre-Columbian path. Approximately 6 hours of walking, camping.
Day 2. Challapampa - Pabellonani
This day we start our walk after a restful rest, with lighter clothes, the trail is still well preserved, it demonstrates the ingenuity and ability of construction already in the time before the arrival of the Incas, since these roads served to unite different ecological systems taking products from the highlands to the subtropics, maintaining an active trade. We will cross suspension bridges to save the rivers of transparent water that are tributaries of the Amazon system, in the afternoon we will arrive at our campsite in Pabellonani. 6 ½ walk approximately, camping.
Day 3. Pabellonani - Chairo
Beginning of the trekking early in the morning to take advantage of the best views of this part of the walk, the area becomes wetter and the vegetation more copious, the path built defies the geography of the place, on the descent it becomes winding, you can observe waterfalls of clean water that is used by the locals for their consumption and agricultural work. At noon we will arrive at Sandillani, where a friendly Japanese inhabitant of the place for more than thirty years has built a garden of incomparable beauty.
