Day 1. Valleys of Charazani and Curva

Leaving from the City of La Paz 06:00 am. We head towards the community of Curva (280km) distant, on the way we will observe the western flank of Lake Titicaca, and then we begin our descent to the valleys of Charazani and Curva 3700m. You will be able to observe the green mountains in the distance and discover that there is no more beauty as sublime as silence, which has a history of many centuries, close to the Kallawayas, Incas and Aymaras who walked in these places in search of their food. just as the Spanish did. Shelter.

Day 2. Inca-Kancha Valley

Visit of the millennial community of Curva and its surroundings, we will enjoy excellent views of the mountain range. Observing the beautiful contrast of the snowy Akhamani (Guardian God of the Kallawayas). The mysticism that it contains is accompanied by an infinity of offerings that it receives often, since for the Kallawaya world, it is considered the most powerful, sacred and imposing that forces even the most incredulous to pay reverence to it. We rest for a few minutes to resume our ascent to the sacred apacheta, and we will have a good chance to observe eagles, foxes and viscachas. Then we begin our descent until we reach the Inca-Kancha valley, where we will set up our camp. (6 hours of walking).

Day 3. Thousand Curves

Ascending to the Inca-Kancha pass through the Mil Curvas apacheta and after a steep ascent we will be rewarded by the great panorama in front of our eyes and then continue observing llamas and cattle pastures and some abandoned mine. In this area the imposing Cuchillo and Sunchulli mountains are revealed in front of us. We continue following the current of the river and then arrive at a good camping spot (7 hours of walking).

Day 4. Sunchulli Valley

We descend to the Sunchulli valley; and we will be able to feel the atmosphere of charm and part of the Cordillera Real can be seen expanding to the South, the panorama becomes more beautiful with the presence of llamas and alpacas that approach curiously meeting us, enjoying the fresh and pure air we continue descending until we find a good place for our camp (7 hours of walking).

Day 5. Sunchulli Pass – Liduni Lagoon – Illo Community

We begin our walk ascending until we find the Sunchulli pass 5100m and we will feel the magnetism of the mountains getting stronger as we go, descending to the Liduni lagoon that reflects the Sunchulli and Cuchillo mountains, we will also observe ducks and small swamps that we avoid. Then, as we pass, the human presence makes itself felt with small constructions covered with rough straw, in this place the foggy air is common, little by little we approach the community of Illo Illo, where we will camp (6 hours of walking).

Day 6: Keansani Pass – Pelechuco

We follow the course of the river for about two hours and then we begin our ascent to the Keansani pass 4,900m where the scenery is beautiful, then we continue our walk along the mountain path until we reach Pelechuco, a small and attractive town founded by Jesuit missionaries. , with houses in the style of the colonial era (5 hours of walking), Refuge.

Day 7. La Paz

Return to La Paz aboard our all-terrain vehicle, passing through the Ulla Ulla National Park, with a panoramic view of the Apolobamba mountain range. 9 hours of travel.
